Voice Training

This course can be run as either a twilight (2 hour) or a half day option (two sessions).  During this course, Sue uses a combination of training slides, practical demonstrations and group activities.  Sue will help your staff understand how to use their voices more effectively, how to protect their voices from damage, and how to make better use of non verbal approaches. This is an important area of practice and one in which many teachers report they have little or not training.

During the course, Sue covers the following topics:

  • Effective use of your voice
  • Vocal warm-ups and techniques
  • Voice and classroom management
  • Voice and effective learning
  • Non verbal communication
  • Taking care of your voice

This course is particularly beneficial for teachers new to the profession, and for any more experienced staff who find voice usage to be an issue.
