Training

"INSET provided by Sue Cowley has had a profound and significant impact upon developing effective teaching and learning strategies for both new and experienced teachers. Delegates experienced and enjoyed a thoughtful and inspiring presentation about innovative and good practices across all phases of education and training." Peter Hadfield, Education Course Leader, University of Bedfordshire

"I was at your course on Friday in Slough - it was fantastic - YOU are so inspiring.  Your course is like a giant gasp of oxygen when you've been underwater too long!"  Jane, NQT at training event for Slough Local Authority

"An absolutely rocking lecture ... really inspiring and lots to think about ... feeling really upbeat and positive about teaching." Thomas, from University of Bedfordshire training event

Sue is a renowned INSET trainer, who has provided training for teaching and support staff around the UK and in European countries such as The Netherlands, Switzerland and Slovenia.  Sue's belief is that teacher training must be about 'walking the walk' rather than just 'talking the talk'.  Or, in other words, that as a trainer she must model the techniques that she suggests others should use.  By using real life examples, and making people reflect on their own behaviour and motivations, Sue brings her training to life in a fully interactive and genuninely practical experience.

Sue can offer training on:
  • Positive Behaviour Management
  • Developing Thinking Skills
  • Developing Children's Writing
  • Differentiation and Teaching Mixed Ability Groups
  • Creative Thinking for Teachers and Students
  • Behaviour Management Strategies for Parents
  • Independent Learning
  • Voice Usage in the Classroom

For more details on the various courses available, please use the drop down menu.  For more information about Sue's previous engagements, see the Biography page.  For details of Sue’s availability and rates, or to discuss a booking, please contact Sue.
