I'm very excited to announced that my latest book, The Ultimate Guide to Self-Regulation in the Classroom is now available for pre-order here!
This guide covers all aspects of self-regulation, looking at why it is so important, how it develops and the research into the different aspects of executive function. The book explores a range of really practical ways to support your learners to develop self-regulation skills in the classroom. Getting your Class to Behave After more than 20 years in print, my bestselling book on behaviour is now out in a brand new sixth edition, available here. We made the decision to publish with a revised title, removing the word that has upset some people over the years. It was originally meant in a light-hearted way, but it felt outdated now and in need of a change. You can read a review of the latest edition from EduPulse. Purchase Getting your Class to Behave Sue appeared on 'SEND in the Experts' on YouTube, with Georgina Durrant. You can watch the video and listen to the podcast here. Sue offers great value live online training and in person CPD sessions for schools, early years settings and other organisations. Training topics include Positive Behaviour Management, Practical Differentiation and Adaptive Teaching, Developing Self-Regulation and Voice Training. Sue also provides sessions designed specifically for new teachers (school based and university trainees and early career teachers ). Sessions can be run during the day time, on INSET days or as twilights. Get in touch via email to find out more: [email protected]. |
