self-regulation
Sue's training on self-regulation and metacognition offers a new way of looking at behaviour and supporting children and young people to build their self-regulation skills. This CPD helps staff to understand what self-regulation is and how it develops during childhood and adolescence. The session explores lots of practical ways in which staff can help their learners build impulse control, empathy, resilience, attentional control and other key learning behaviours in their classrooms. The training also offers ideas for building metacognitive skills and supporting students to regulate and manage their own learning.
